I love LOVE. The kind that steps up and blazes its way through, measured not by words spoken, but action taken.  The type that responds instantly, audaciously, soulfully to those close to us but even sweeter, to perfect strangers.  The one that bridges any perceived divide in our shared humanity.  I strive to be that kind of love; I have failed and I have succeeded.

Second to loving LOVE, I love timing.  Circumstance.  Non-coincidences.  When things happen, how they happen, who shows up, and how we respond.  …I’m obsessed with where love and timing intersect, and how we view ourselves in relation to timing as either a creator or a victim; I have at one time or another, viewed myself as both.

Love, timing, and audacity have led me by the hand to teach, write, publish, produce, interview world leaders, manage a professional boxer, forge a career in commercial property development, and a handful of other incredible, and seemingly unrelated, rewarding adventures.  To me, they are all “twists of fate”.

As far back as I can remember I’ve been a great admirer of Fate. I’ve watched her from a distance mysteriously arranging phone calls, meetings, opportunities and ultimately, life-changing events between unlikely people in perfect timing. I’ve stood in awe of the manner in which she has weaved the most glorious synchronistic events, shifting the trajectory of well-laid plans and sending us on journeys we couldn’t have imagined in our wildest dreams.

I’ve tested it, studied it, and I live the magic myself.

On that note, I want you to write me your favourite twist of fate story.  The kind that gives you goose bumps; the kind that inspires awe.  I’m collecting them so I can gift them to the world in a multitude of ways.  Through a twist of fate, they will transform lives.  Stay tuned…
